Whilst still higher than a year ago, rate of increase in February not has high compared to January. There have been higher levels of activity in the property market throughout the Midlands at the start of 2018.

The number of house-hunters registering/making enquiries is 14% up on last January and February. The number of properties available to buy at John German has also risen and is up 27% on Jan/Feb 2017.

In January alone, the number of sales agreed increased, with offers accepted up 18% on last January. The signs are that activity has fallen back in February, and whilst still higher than a year ago, the rate of increase found in January has not been maintained with the weather no doubt stalling interest in the last week or so.
