Time at John German? I have worked at John German since 2004, working my way through the ranks from part time Sales Negotiator to Sales Director.
Favourite part of your job? My passion for property came prior to me working at John German when I successfully renovated and sold properties for 10 years. I was very keen to take the next step by helping people sell their homes and there was only one agent I wanted to work for…JG!
Top tip for buyer or seller? Anyone putting their home onto the market declutter as much as possible.
What would be your dream home? Hard to choose but at the moment probably a detached minimalistic house by the coast with as much glass as possible.

What would be your dream home? Anything with a sea view and beach would be good.

What is your experience? I have always had a passion for property. I joined the industry in 2019, fresh out of university and the rest is history.
The best part of your job? I genuinely believe I have the best job in the world. I love meeting new people every day, sitting down and talking about their home and how our experts at John German can get them moving into their dream home. The cups of coffee from customers are a nice bonus too… Milk, One sugar please!
Top tip for a seller? You never have a second chance to make a first impression to your potential buyers. Presentation is everything when it comes to showing viewers exactly what your home has to offer so remove any clutter and make sure your home is tidy throughout. Light some candles and play relaxing music when your viewings are taking place to create a nice, calm environment!
Dream Home: I love older, charming properties which have been sympathetically finished throughout. Victorian properties that manage to retain their character and charm whilst having a modern twist are my favourite!

Time at John German? I have 18 years experience as a Sales Negotiator, having worked in Burton upon Trent, Uttoxeter and latterly Barton under Needwood where I have been since 2014.
Best part of your job? I take great pride in my work, offering a professional and approachable service to our customers.
What are your hobbies? In my spare time I enjoy cooking, gardening, spending time with my husband and walking my dogs.

Time at John German? I came to work in the sales team at Burton in March 2015 having previously worked for John German in lettings.
Favourite part of your job? I love negotiating on a property and agreeing a sale. It’s so satisfying getting a property sold for a client and helping to make a buyer’s dreams come true.
Top tip for buyer or seller? For a seller make sure your home is welcoming, clean and tidy.

Favourite part of your job? Having positive feedback from a happy seller or buyer and experiencing their excitement when the sale completes.
Top tip for buyer or seller? Seller: Make sure your property is clean, tidy and presentable for viewings. Buyer: Do the ground work on your finances and make sure you feel financially comfortable with a purchase.
What would be your dream home? My dream home would be an old fashioned cottage in a picture postcard village location.

Time at John German? Since 1995 but with 3 years off for good behaviour!
Favourite part of your job? Going out to meet landlords and gaining their confidence to instruct us…. And then finding them the perfect tenant!
Top tip for a landlord? Only buy a property to let in an area you would live!
What would be your dream home? A grand design home with full height windows overlooking countryside.

Time at John German? I joined John German Estate Agents in 2011 and have worked for both the Lettings and Sales departments.
The best part of your job? It’s a fast-paced job which provides me with a great feeling of accomplishment when I find the perfect tenant for a landlord. Another aspect of the job I enjoy is building great relationships with our landlords and tenants. It feels good when they come back to us time and time again to re-let their properties or when they are looking for a new home.
What would be your dream home? My dream home would be a period property with plenty of old features and open fires, with somewhere to put a very big Christmas tree.

The best part of your job? After 40 years as an Estate Agent I enjoy passing on my experience to sellers and buyers, along with working with highly trained and efficient colleagues.
Top tip for buyer or seller? For those selling a property, put your trust in an established local estate agent with a successful track record, one who will guide you professionally through the whole process from the initial valuation to a successful completion. If you are looking for a new home or investment property, establish a rapport with your local estate agents. The more they know about you and your search the higher chance you will have finding your perfect home or investment. Also take financial advice early on to help with your purchase.

What is your experience? As a retired police officer, I have had over 30 years experience of dealing with a wide variety of people, dealing with their individual needs and requirements. Having recently joined the John German Team I intend to carry on with these values, by helping and advising our customers, making their overall experience of the house move process as enjoyable and stress free as possible.
The best part of your job? Meeting new people and visiting all the different types of houses for sale. I enjoy finding out the stories of our customers and their hopes for the future in potentially their new home.
Top tip for buyer or seller? When selling, declutter as much as possible to enable potential buyer to visualise themselves living there. When buying, you will know when you find the right house. Your new house won’t be perfect for you in the beginning and there might be some compromises. Choose the house with the least compromises for you.
What would be your dream home? A log home in a forest in the countryside so I could enjoy walks with my family and dog.
