Sales Director
Time at John German? I have been with JG since 1999.
Favourite part of your job? Seeing lots of different properties from country houses to Victorian terraces.
What would be your dream home? A contemporary house in North Cornwall with immediate access to the beach and Atlantic Ocean.
Sales Director
Time at John German? I have worked at John German since 2004, working my way through the ranks from part time Sales Negotiator to Sales Director.
Favourite part of your job? My passion for property came prior to me working at John German when I successfully renovated and sold properties for 10 years. I was very keen to take the next step by helping people sell their homes and there was only one agent I wanted to work for…JG!
Top tip for buyer or seller? Anyone putting their home onto the market declutter as much as possible.
What would be your dream home? Hard to choose but at the moment probably a detached minimalistic house by the coast with as much glass as possible.

Time at John German? I joined John German in 2007.
Favourite part of your job? Meeting people/chatting on the phone and helping buyers find their ideal home.
Top tip for buyer or seller? First impressions count! Paint and dress your entrance door using topiary trees/hanging baskets and keep your home clean and tidy.
What would be your dream home? A Victorian/Edwardian property with high ceilings, large rooms and lots of original features.
Sales Negotiator

Time at John German? I have been with John German since 2013.
Favourite part of your job? Building a client relationship with somebody wishing to sell their property and finding the best way for them to achieve the all-important sale.
Top tip for buyer or seller? A first impression really counts; clear, clean and clean again!
What would be your dream home? A contemporary south-facing home near the water and anywhere in the sun!
Sales Negotiator

How long have you been with John German Estate Agents? I joined the Stafford team in 2018, already having eight years of experience working in the estate agency.
Favourite part of your job? Negotiating sales and finding people their forever homes.
Top tip for selling or buying a property? Clean and declutter your property before viewings.
What would be your dream home? A self-build, very modern with lots of glass and sea views.
Accompanied Viewing Representative
Time at John German? I worked at the Lichfield branch back in 2005 and now I work alongside the team in Stafford.
Favourite part of the job? People and houses are infinitely different, and I like the variety of both which each day brings.
Top tip for buyer or seller? I believe good natural light is one of the most important qualities in a home, so I would recommend finding the compass app on your phone and using it during your viewings to see what time of day the sunlight will be in each room. When selling it is also useful for us to know which way your property faces so that the front elevation can be photographed at the right time of day to get the best image possible.
What would be your dream home? An eco lodge by a lake, with the living areas facing Southwest.
Accompanied Viewing Representative
Time at John German? I joined the team at John German Stafford back in October 2017 after a career break of nearly eight years to raise my two boys.
Favourite part of my job? I love that two days are never the same. I love meeting people and experiencing their excitement when they find their future home.
What would your dream home be? My dream home would be something traditional with modern features, surrounded by open space and amazing views. It would be an organised and functional home providing space and comforts to welcome and accommodate my friends and family.

Best part of your job? I love speaking to people from all walks of life and helping them – whether that’s by finding them the perfect house to make a home or by finding them the perfect tenant to rent their home. Every day in lettings is fast paced, exciting and very rewarding!
Top tip for a landlord? Letting your property can be a great money earner, both in return and capital investment, however don’t underestimate the work which goes into letting and managing a property. When choosing a letting agent look for an agent who has professional qualifications and works to a code of practice (ARLA, RICs, NAEA). Your investment is more likely to be in safe hands – which should in the long run save you your valuable time and money.

Time at John German? I joined John German Estate Agents in 2011 and have worked for both the Lettings and Sales departments.
The best part of your job? It’s a fast-paced job which provides me with a great feeling of accomplishment when I find the perfect tenant for a landlord. Another aspect of the job I enjoy is building great relationships with our landlords and tenants. It feels good when they come back to us time and time again to re-let their properties or when they are looking for a new home.
What would be your dream home? My dream home would be a period property with plenty of old features and open fires, with somewhere to put a very big Christmas tree.

Time at John German? Since 2005 both in Sales and Lettings.
The best part of your job? Building up a good relationship with landlords and tenants alike.
Top tip for buyer or seller? First impressions really do count, maximise your kerb appeal and be realistic with the rental price to avoid the property sitting empty.
What would be your dream home? I’ve always really fancied a grand design type house, perhaps by Frank Lloyd or similar.
