How to let your property with John German

  1. Invite us to value your property

    This is your opportunity to share your plans with us. You will receive expert advice on renting out your property and discover how much rental income you can achieve.

  2. Stand out from the crowd

    To attract tenants we will bring out the best in your rental property with great photos, floor plans and brochures.

  3. Reach a wider audience

    Your rental property will be promoted on the John German website which has approx. 25,000 visitors a month looking for a home and registering for JG Property Alerts. To reach an even wider audience, the property will also be advertised on the UK’s No.1 property website Rightmove and OnTheMarket.com

  4. Never miss out on a viewing request

    Prospective tenants will be able to book a viewing 24/7. Viewings are dealt with by the Lettings team, but if we are closed, our online booking platform will still capture viewing requests automatically – meaning you’ll never miss out on a single one. By choosing our Fully Managed option, you will also be given exclusive access to Property File, an online platform where you can see marketing performance reports and viewing feedback at the click of a button.

  5. Leave the negotiating to us

    The key to any successful long-term let is finding reliable tenants, the type who will pay their rent on time and look after your property like it’s their own. Rather than working on a first-come-first-served basis, we will highlight the pros and cons of each applicant so you can make the right decision before proceeding with an application.

  6. Ensure tenants are suitable

    Once a tenant’s application has been accepted in principle, our trained and highly experienced Lettings team carry out thorough credit checks, Right to Rent checks and full referencing, both in-house and through our third party providers, to ensure tenants are suitable to move into your property.

  7. Keep on the right side of the law

    With over 170 pieces of legislation affecting the rental sector, it’s vital you fulfil your duties as a landlord and comply with regulations. By choosing our Fully Managed option, we will be on hand to share the responsibility by making sure you are kept up-to-date with any changes.
