INSTRUCT A SOLICTOR
Once a sale has been agreed you will need to instruct a solicitor, on average you can expect the sales process to take somewhere between 8 to 12 weeks depending on the complexities of the transaction. We are on hand to recommend local solicitors that we work closely with.
Where many agents feel their job is complete at this point in the process, here at John German we are on hand to advise you through the entire process. We will remain in contact with you and solicitors throughout the chain to guide the sale to a successful completion.
If your buyer wishes to have a survey we can help advise them on the different types of surveys that can be undertaken and assist in resolving any issues that may arise.
In order to complete your sale your solicitor will need the title deeds and Property Information Form. Once contracts are exchanged the purchase is legally binding and a moving date will be set.
It’s time to start getting things in order! Packing room by room and labelling everything can really help to keep organised and take the stress away for both the removals company and yourself when unloading at your new home.
CHANGE OF ADDRESS
