Average house prices in London compared to the Midlands
According to Rightmove stats, last year most property sales in London involved flats which sold on average for just over £500,000. Terraced properties sold for an average price of £637,823, while semi-detached properties fetched £628,504.
London, with an overall average price of £578,968 was more expensive than the East Midlands by a whopping £390k!
Which is great news if you are considering selling up and relocating to the Midlands, you will get a hell of lot more sq footage for your money!
