On Saturday 14th July the usually peaceful Staffordshire Moorlands came alive with the distinctive roar of engines, coming from almost 100 veteran cars ascending through Oakamoor. This family-friendly spectacle saw a medley of classic cars and motorbikes, dating from 1900 to 1975.
As well as providing fun for local residents and those further afield, the aim of the day was to raise money for registered charity Staffordshire Clubs for Young People (SCYP), an organisation which runs sporting events and activities for young people, often from less advantaged backgrounds, throughout the county.
John German Estate Agents’ Owner Director James Morgan, is a committee member of the SCYP, he said " It was a very successful day with record attendance by the public and entrants, with nearly 100 cars and veteran bikes climbing the hill. With everyone's support leading up to and on the day we were able to raise £12,000. The event was also featured on ITV central news!"

"I had a great experience of the Ashbourne branch of John German during the purchase of my property in Dalbury Lees. They were always available to offer advice and they helped me keep a level head during what always ends up being a slightly stressful situation! I would recommend them and in particular Stuart to all."
