The wedding of 2018 has to be that of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, who are set to wed on Saturday the 19th of May. In celebration, we have listed some of our homes on the market which would be perfect for the soon-to-be Duke and Duchess of Sussex!

The fun-loving couple will be wowed by this ultra-luxurious modern house which is set on a 4 acre plot, with an truly enviable position overlooking Blithfield Reservoir in Abbots Bromley. The striking home has everything that young newlyweds could ever dream of, including a swimming pool and gym complex with changing rooms, a sauna and jacuzzi plus an uber-cool games room with a bar, purpose-built wine cellar and home cinema.
Although modern, the house does give a decent nod to royalty, being built in a 'Queen Anne' design. It even has a separate apartment, perfect for visits from Wills and Kate!
Wilderley Barn, Admaston - Guide Price £2,500,000The Crown Estate, belonging to the British monarch, owns over 1,900,000 acres of land, therefore Harry will be used to living in lush green surroundings, so this makes Wilderley Barn in Staffordshire the perfect place for the married couple to set up home!
The stunningly-stylish barn conversion sits within approx. 51 acres of sprawling grassland and gardens. It is a real rural retreat catering for countryside living, with two stocked fish pools, a hard surface tennis courts, substantial steel/timber workshop and a steel/timber open-fronted barn. Harry will also be pleased to know that the property has a private driveway, a third of a mile long, perfect for keeping the pesky paparazzi at bay!
Matching the grandeur of any royal household, Harry and Meghan wouldn't feel out of place in The Spinney House. This charming and very elegant home is part of the former Hoar Cross Hall Estate, sitting in its own grounds extending to approx. 4.9 acres.

The couple will be able to enjoy the first flush of romance in the wonderful master bedroom suite which has stunning views across the front and rear of the property. The en-suite is not just any old en-suite; it is luxuriously fitted with a large bath, separate shower cubicle and 'his & hers' ornate marble sinks, and the heated flooring adds a nice comforting touch. The bedroom suite, in addition, has its own dressing room, as well as a shoe and bag room.
Prince Harry, the polo-loving royal, will also like the fact the property is geared up for keeping horses. There is a ménage and stable block with further stabling and a tack room. And if this isn't enough, there is an outdoor swimming pool and pool house with a kitchen area and shower room.
Marrying into the royal family, Meghan will join Harry and spend the rest of her working life supporting a number of charitable activities and projects and carrying out public duties in support of The Queen. With all the travelling involved, there will be nothing nicer than for the pair to return home to this lovely Grade II Listed residence, nestled within the wonderful Staffordshire countryside. It is just a short distance from the centre of Haughton village and its welcoming country pub and two, equally as welcoming, gastro pubs.

The house itself is just beautiful, the decor inside is something which could easily be featured in Countryside Living. It is so stylishly decorated but still provides a calm and homely feel. There is a fantastic indoor swimming pool, a bespoke dining kitchen, six bedrooms with three en-suites, and a small paddock within a plot of approx. 1.9 acres.
We are guessing the couple will want to catch a breath after their wedding celebrations; rather than jumping into buying a new house straightaway, they may want to spend some time looking first. So whilst they spend time looking for their dream home, John German Lettings have just the property for them; A truly unique two-storey apartment encompassing the east tower turret of the former Bretby Hall.
