Magnificent Garden Centre Piece
‘Lightbounds’ in Uttoxeter has its very own giant Gunnera Manicata which wouldn’t look out of place on the set of Jurassic Park, at 12ft tall the magnificent centre piece is nothing short of spectacular.
In many gardens a plant of this magnitude might be an unwelcome guest but set in the 2.9 acre garden at ‘Lightbounds’ it fits in perfectly.

Mrs Phillips, comments: ‘The leaves are as tough as old boots and offer great protection if there’s a shower while I’m out gardening, or to enjoy a quick cup of tea in the shade during sunny weather.
‘It gets as tall as this each year because it thrives in boggy soil and I keep it very wet. But the rainy July and then a brief heatwave have really helped it flourish. It’s pretty impressive. Every year it amazes us with its size.’
Would you like to live in a home like this?
This wonderful five bedroom family home sits on the edge of the market town of Uttoxeter. The house is understood to have built in 1902, in Edwardian times, with arts and crafts themes running throughout. A truly stunning and individual property.
"Dear Phillip, we would like to thank you and your staff in the excellent and efficient way they have carried out the sale of our property. We were constantly kept up to date with regular telephone calls and information throughout the sale, and are extremely pleased with the service you have given us at this very difficult time."
