Once again we are pleased to support The Police Community Clubs of Great Britain (PCCGB), an organisation founded 15 years ago by a group of Metropolitan Police Officers, who recognised the huge benefits to be gained by supporting young people from an early age. They realised that whilst there were avenues to help develop young initiatives, there were only a few resources that focused solely on developing life skills and citizenship values, with aims of reducing crime and disorder.
Brookside Primary School in East Leake
John German Estate Agents in East Leake have had the pleasure of purchasing 30 copies of Barney and Echo citizenship books for their nominated school, Brookside Primary School. The books are fun with interactive support and are punctuated by activities, which develop learning objectives for the children. These activities can be carried out in lesson time or as homework.
Barry Jones MBE, Secretary for PCCGB Citizenship comments:
“Citizenship is increasingly recognised by schools as a vital area of Personal, Social and Health Education (PSHE). Our citizen programmes have been specifically designed to support teachers and parents in addressing bullying, vandalism, drugs, alcohol, tobacco, knife crime and other sensitive subjects with key stage 1 and 2 children”.

"Nothing was too much trouble, you went out of your way to answer questions, chase up all solicitors and generally looked after us throughout the whole process. We moved into this property in less than 4 weeks due to this. You kept your promise."
