Having sold plenty of houses over the years, in my experience sellers should be conscious of agents carrying high stock levels. Surely West Bridgfords fast moving housing market and its individual micro-climate should dictate low stock levels?
It is clear to me that there is a distinct lack of good, honest advice given to sellers with regards to property values and expectations. If demand is there, the property is accurately valued and impeccably marketed, then why are some agents carrying high stock levels?”

Visit your agent’s office - Were the team knowledgeable and experienced? Was the advice given clear and substantiated?
Agents stock levels - Enquire how many properties they have on the market? How long are they taking to sell? How are the details presented?
Moving Onwards - Are they engaging in your plans to move? Will they assist in negotiating your onward purchase? Have they offered recommended solicitors and financial services?
Viewings - Who does them? Which is best vendor or accompanied viewer? Do they offer Open Houses? Do they work and How?
Selling costs - Be aware of agents selling themselves cheaply? What’s included in the fee? Is the photography professionally taken? EPC’s & Floorplans included? Are there any withdrawal costs?
