Both runs will be chip timed.
Ashbourne Running Club will have two new trophies to present this year, a new trophy for both the First Lady finisher and the First Local Lady finisher. The trophies have been provided by John German Estate Agents in Ashbourne who have been the primary sponsoring supporter for the event for a number of years.
The events also coincide with the Picnic in the Park with live music and entertainment in Memorial Gardens as the final culminating event of the Ashbourne Festival.
Stuart Bennet, Sales Director from John German comments “Having taken part a few times myself, the Ashbourne Half Marathon and Fun Run is so very well organised and makes for a great day out. As a local estate agent in the area, it is with great pleasure for John German to sponsor the event once again”.
