The Uttoxeter branch of John German Estate Agents were very pleased to donate £400 towards the Defibrillator Project, initiated by Uttoxeter Rural Parish Council.
In total £3999 was raised to pay for two defibrillators which will be located at Stramshall and Bramshall Village Halls. Uttoxeter's Branch Manager, Matt Slater lives in Bramshall whilst James Morgan, Director for John German Estate Agents lives in Stramshall. James explains, "Having sold many properties in both Stramshall and Bramshall, this is a great way to give something extra to clients. We are committed to community projects and when approached by the Parish Clerk to make a donation, we did not hesitate to pledge our support."
Cllr Jean Pattison-Evans, Chair of the Parish Council who received the donation from Matt Slater said, "John German has been extremely generous to the Parish Council with this £400 donation and has ensured this community project will become a reality sooner than we thought. The Parish Councillors are grateful to John German for their kind support and commitment to the residents of our parish."
The defibrillators will be purchased from AEDdonate, a local charity based in Stone who will kindly install and provide training to an unlimited amount of people at no extra cost. Training dates will be announced shortly on the news page of the Uttoxeter Rural Parish Council website.
"I have just exchanged contracts and I'm so pleased that the people I'm buying from used John German, they have been wonderful. I don't think we would have got to this point without them. Estate Agents do so much more than just advertise your property, there is a long way to go from someone saying they want to buy your property to actually making it happen. I would definitely recommend John German, thank you so much."
